Risks of a DPP:-

  • 10% of your monthly payment is taken off as a fees to cover the running costs of your debts.
  • Once you’re on a DPP or opted for DPP then your details will be put on to the DAS register. This is an online register that anyone can access easily.
  • A DPP will appear on your credit file for a period of six years.
  • If you don't keep up your payments then, the DPP could fail, and creditors can add interest charges, or take further action against you very easily.
